I tutor IB English with a focus on Paper 1, the HL Essay and oral work. I started out helping classmates with commentaries, then moved into regular one-to-one lessons after university. Hi, I’m an IB English tutor who mainly works with students who feel a bit stuck on unseen texts or the Individual Oral. I like lessons to feel calm and useful rather than like another school lecture. We usually read short extracts together, test different interpretations, and then turn those ideas into clear, exam-ready writing. I also help with choosing IO extracts and trimming scripts that have become too broad.

I have taught IB English for eight years, including Language and Literature students preparing for HL essays and final exams.
